If Idina Menzel and Amy Schumer had a baby…

it would be Meghan Fitton (she/her) - an edgy songtress with a soulful tone serving high screlts full of teen angst and Bostonian sarcasm. Ever since receiving her Fisher Price Starlit Stage as a kid, performing has been her center focus in life. At the age of 27, Meghan has already performed all around the world in places like Vietnam, Cambodia, Jordan and England alongside broadway and music legends such Leslie Odom Jr., Patti Austin, Joshua Henry and Yo-Yo Ma. An alumni of the University of Miami’s Vocal Jazz Performance Program, and a frequent student at The Barrow Group and Actor Therapy with Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver, Meghan continues to expand her abilities in music and theatre. She considers herself a “forever student.” dabbling also in directing, screenwriting, and her new obsession, stand-up comedy. Her unique voice and grit recently allowed her a featured spot on American Idol, receiving three yeses to Hollywood from judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan. Her original music can be heard live around NYC venues such as The Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall and The Delancey. Currently based in both Manhattan and Boston, Meghan likes to write anything from future Oscar-winning films *manifesting*, bad jokes, good jokes, and solo cabarets. She loves putting on, what she likes to call, “her Britney mic” and teach fitness classes around NYC, add to her sneaker collection, run half marathons, rewatch her favorite romantic comedies (Fever Pitch is #1) and pretend she’s an SNL cast member. At the end of the day she just wants to find humor in the darkness of life and tell female-driven stories.
