Women Do It Better

They say “behind every man is a women,” but we believe women deserve center stage! To prove it, Paris Martino and I, produced the cabaret “Women Do It Better” at 54 Below, which featured Broadway alum and up and coming female talent singing songs originally performed by men. Everyone was incredible and it was amazing to perform to a sold out crowd!

Diagnosis Hysteria

The response to the performance of “Diagnosis Hysteria” after out 10/5 performance was amazing. I got to live out my rocker girl dreams by singing Joan Jet’s “Bad Reputation” and Lorde’s “Liability.” The crowd was energetic and made the performing it easy and freeing. (I even kicked over a music stand!)

I was extremely inspired to be around a supportive group of women, not only in the sense of making art but also for women’s rights. I’m super proud of my friend, Cassidy Layton, for conjuring this idea and bringing us all together at the Kraine Theater.

Just a bunch of angry girls…

Due to the recent attack on women’s rights, I will be performing in “Diagnosis Hysteria,” a punk rock abortion fundraiser. Written by my friend Cassidy Layton and performed by a group of badass women, we’ll be belting familiar angsty anthems in the spirit of fem empowerment!

I’m excited to let my inner Joan Jett out while being surrounded by such talented people.

She’s a Funny Girl…

Unfortunately, I’m not playing Fanny Brice on Broadway, but I was lucky enough to make my stand-up debut at The PIT through LaugtHER Collective, which promotes up and coming female-identifying comedians. I loved the experience so much that I’ve also started taking private writing lessons with one of it’s founders, Christi Chiello.
